Only one team can score per round. Points are calculated by subtracting the round losing team's points from the round winning team's points. (this is called "cancellation scoring").

Two cornhole boards, each measuring 24 inches by 48 inches, with a hole that is 6 inches in diameter, located 9 inches from the back of the board.
Note: Place the boards 27 feet apart from the front edges, or adjust the distance accordingly, based off skill level.

Eight bags, four of one color and four of another, each measuring 6 inches by 6 inches and weighing between 14 - 16 ounces.

Tipsy Kornhole Rules

Players take turns tossing bags, from one side, with each player throwing all four bags, before the other player/team, on the other board, throw theirs.
Note: The player or team that won the previous round shall throw the first bag in the next round.

Tosses must be made from anywhere inside the 36 inches by 48 inches imaginary rectangle next to the board.

Pick a category (e.g., types of beers). Players take turns naming items in that category. The first person who can't name an item or repeats an item that has already been said drinks.

Create a new rule (e.g., everyone must speak in an accent). Anyone who breaks the rule drinks. Rules can't be targeted towards certain players (e.g., anyone wearing red drinks twice). Rules apply until the end of the game and can also be canceled.

The player becomes the Question Master. If someone answers a question asked by the Question Master, they drink. Question Master remains until someone else lands on the Q.

When a bag lands in between two different board rule sections, the board rule with the majority of the bag's area is picked. If a bag's area equally shares two bag rule sections, then the thrower determines which rule is picked.
